Toledo Community Foundation is the single most flexible institution for charitable giving. We offer an amazing array of charitable giving opportunities - the causes you support, the assets you give, and the form your giving takes can all be customized to meet your own individual needs and interests. All approved contributions are tax deductible. Toledo Community Foundation will send you a receipt for your records when the gift is received.

Gift by Check
The check should be made payable to Toledo Community Foundation and the name of the fund to receive the contribution should be written on the memo line. Please mail or deliver by hand to:

Gifts by Wire Transfer
Large sums may be wire transferred directly to the Foundation's bank account. Please inform us in advance of a planned wire transfer so that we can ensure it is credited to the correct fund and donor. Please contact the Foundation at 419.241.5049 for specific instructions to transfer funds.

Credit Cards
The Foundation accepts credit card gifts (Master Card or Visa) by phone or through our Online Giving Center. Please provide us with your name (as listed on card), address, card number, expiration date, 3 digit code on back of card, amount of gift and fund to be credited. Please also include your phone number so that we may contact you if there are problems.

Year-End Gifts
To qualify as a tax deduction in a given year, your cash gift must be postmarked or hand-delivered by December 31 of that year. Credit card gifts must be actually charged by December 31. Please consult with your financial institution regarding the delivery time of federal funds wire transfers.

Other Assets
Please contact the Foundation at 419.241.5049 regarding procedures for making contributions of publicly-traded and closely-held stock, real estate, personal property and some types of partnership interests or other types of assets.
