Sight Center Helps With Independence
The services the Sight Center provides to its clients concentrate on the skills necessary to help people retain everyday independence. The Foundation has awarded grants totaling $120,000 in the last two years to fund programs to help just that.

How An Agency Reaches Out
The Foundation and Advocates for Basic Legal Equality created a Mobile Benefit Bank staffed by AmeriCorps members to provide free legal assessments to low- and moderate-income individuals and families in the community to determine what assistance is available to them – and helps them apply for those services.
