Partners Against Trafficking in Humans

In 2015, Toledo Community Foundation considered a proposal from The University of Toledo Foundation to support a new community effort called Partners Against Trafficking in Humans, or PATH. The two grants that were ultimately awarded for PATH fostered an innovative model of collaborative intervention that has transformed the region’s approach to human trafficking and its victims. This is the story of how that model came to be applied to one of our society’s most troubling problems, and how this approach has the potential to improve the efficacy of other social service agencies, not just in northwest Ohio, but across the country.
