Almost 100 years after his grandfather became a physician in Pakistan, S. Amjad Hussain, M.D. began his medical career in Toledo and felt an obligation to build bridges of understanding between the two countries. The Foundation was able to help him convert a donation of real estate into a donor advised fund that will support the Toledo community in perpetuity.

Toledo resident Sam Carson wanted to preserve a family tradition of giving, while also allowing his entire family to participate in deciding how their charitable dollars should be distributed.
