This scholarship was introduced last year for the first time, and is administered by the Toledo Community Foundation. It provides annual, renewable awards for graduating high school students and current college students who are dependents of Owens Corning employees. The scholarship was created to assist students who demonstrate scholastic aptitude and financial need in reaching their full potential.
The scholarship was established by the Owens Corning Foundation which, since 1978, has championed programs that provide access to education and affordable housing for those most in need.
Applications for the Owens Corning Foundation Scholarship of the Toledo Community Foundation are available through the Human Resources Departments of all Owens Corning facilities, and are also available on the Foundation's website at www.toledocf.org, generally after the first of the year. The application deadline is in March of each year.
