TCF Announces Toledo Board of REALTORS Scholarship Awards for 2009-2010

TOLEDO, OHIO, July 23, 2009 - The Board of Trustees of the Toledo Community Foundation, Inc. recently awarded $5,000.00 in 2009-2010 college scholarships from the Toledo Board of REALTORS Scholarship Fund of the Toledo Community Foundation.

Two new scholarships and three renewal scholarships were awarded to the following students for the 2009-2010 academic year:
New: 
 Ashley Sujkowski who resides in Rossford, attending Ohio Northern University ($1,000); and
 Ike Topp who resides in McClure, OH, attending Ohio Northern University ($1,000).
Renewal awards:
 James Baker who resides in Toledo, attending the University of Toledo ($1,000);
 Joylette Daniels who resides in Maumee, attending Ursuline College ($1,000); and
 Sarah English who resides in Oregon, OH, attending The Ohio State University ($1,000).

The Toledo Board of REALTORS Scholarship Fund of the Toledo Community Foundation was established in 1995 by members of the organization. The Fund is designed to assist current graduates of northwest Ohio high schools in attending the Ohio college or university of their choice. Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years of undergraduate study.

Applications for the Toledo Board of REALTORS Scholarship are available through the Guidance Departments of over 60 high schools in northwestern Ohio and southeastern Michigan, generally after the first of the year. Scholarship awards are announced in July.
