TCF Announces Recipients of Ad Club Scholarship

TOLEDO, OHIO, May 24, 2010 - The Board of Trustees of the Toledo Community Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that Cory Bishop, Renee LeGendre, and Jacquelyn Zureich are the recipients of Advertising Club of Toledo Scholarships.  Their scholarships ranged from $300 to $1,000.

Cory Bishop of Sylvania, OH is attending The University of Toledo; Renee LeGendre of South Toledo attends Ohio Northern University; and Jacquelyn Zureich of Sylvania, OH attends Baldwin-Wallace College.

The Scholarship was established by the Advertising Club of Toledo in 2001. Scholarship applicants are required to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and the intent to pursue a degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field.  A renewable scholarship, it is available for full-time juniors, seniors or graduate students who are attending a university or college in Ohio or Michigan.

Applications for the Advertising Club of Toledo Scholarship of the Toledo Community Foundation are available at the Foundation's website, www.toledocf.org, generally after the first of the year. Applications are due in the Foundation office in mid-March.
Scholarship awards are announced in April.
