TCF Elects 2011 Officers; Welcomes New Trustee at Annual Meeting

TOLEDO, OHIO, April 11, 2011 – The Toledo Community Foundation Board of Trustees elected officers and welcomed one new Trustee at its annual meeting on March 23, 2011.

The 2011 elected officers are Mark D. Luetke, Chair (President, FLS Marketing, Inc.); Mary C. Werner, Vice Chair (President, Werner Coaching & Consulting, Inc.); Geoffrey G. Meyers, Treasurer (Retired EVP/Chief Financial Officer, HCR ManorCare, Inc.); and Patricia J. Appold, Secretary (President, Oliver House Development Co.).

The Board welcomed as a new Trustee:  Scott A. Estes, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Health Care REIT.  Mr. Estes was elected to serve a four-year term beginning in 2011.

Scott served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Health Care REIT from March 2006 until January 2009, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2009. He was Vice President of Finance of the company from April 2003 to March 2006. 

Scott currently serves as the Gala Chairperson for Diabetes Youth Services, and is a current Board Member of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
