TOLEDO, OHIO, September 3, 2013 Keith Burwell, president of Toledo Community Foundation, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Anneliese M. Grytafey, J.D., as the Foundation’s new Senior Program Officer.  Anneliese replaces Sarah Harrison, who resigned in July to relocate to Colorado with her family.

“After an extensive search, we determined that Anneliese is the right person for this position” said Keith. “We are fortunate to have someone with her background and experience to lead the Program area for our organization.”

Anneliese, originally from Buffalo, New York and an attorney by trade, has legal experience having worked at ABLE and LAWO, where she founded ABLE’s Microenterprise Legal Assistance Program which connects low-income entrepreneurs to business attorneys.  Most recently, she was employed with the Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) as manager of their Toledo market, where she brought new tools for small business capitalization and technical assistance to the Toledo Region.  Previously, she held the position of JobsOhio Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Regional Growth Partnership.

Anneliese received a B.A. in Art History from State University of New York College at Buffalo, and a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.

Anneliese shared, “I have had the ability to witness the Toledo Community Foundation in action and I am thrilled to join such a fantastic team.”
