Oswald Supporting Organization of the Toledo Community Foundation Awards Grants Totaling $110,640

TOLEDO, OHIO, April 29, 2015 – The Oswald Supporting Organization of the Toledo Community Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $110,640 to eight nonprofit organizations:
Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, Inc. – a grant of $15,000 was awarded to support the 2015 Young Artists at Work Program. 
Double ARC – a grant of $25,000 was awarded to support provision of diagnostic and supportive services for children affected with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. 
East Toledo Family Center – a grant of $17,200 was awarded to support arts enrichment programming and sporting activities for children and youth.
 
Feed Lucas County Children, Inc. – a grant of $17,496 was awarded to support afterschool and summer meal services for children. 
FOCUS – a grant of $15,000 was awarded to provide supportive housing services to formerly homeless families. 
Toledo Ballet Association – a grant of $1,100 was awarded to support the 2015 Summer Musical Theater Camp program.
Toledo Orchestra Association – a grant of $13,796 was awarded to support the Community Music Lessons program. 
YMCA and JCC of Greater Toledo – a grant of $6,048 was awarded to support the Live Well Greater Toledo Bicycle Fix-It and Safety Education program.
The Oswald Supporting Organization was created by the late Joan and Chuck Oswald in 2000 to support projects in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan that enable families to develop skills to nuture each other and to promote the advancement, self-sufficiency and intellectual, social, emotional and cultural growth of woman and children.
