Oswald Supporting Organization Awards Grants Totaling $122,841 to Seven Nonprofit Organizations

TOLEDO, OH, May 9, 2017 – The Oswald Supporting Organization of the Toledo Community Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $122,841 to seven nonprofit organizations:

Ability Center of Greater Toledo – a grant of $20,000 to support the Center Life Skills Youth Program and the Programs to Educate all Cyclists 2017 – Summer Cycling Program.

Adopt America Network – a grant of $25,000 to support adoption services for families and children.

Feed Lucas County Children, Inc. – a grant of $20,000 to support afterschool and summer meal services for children.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Toledo – a grant of $11,000 to support the Old West End Neighborhood Initiatives 2017 Summer Leadership Initiative project.

Partners in Education – a grant of $25,000 to support the Afterschool Tutoring Project.

Toledo Orchestra Association, Inc. – a grant of $10,000 to support the Community Music Lessons program.

Water for Ishmael – a grant of $11,841 to support the American School for Children preschool education program.

The Oswald Supporting Organization was created by the late Joan and Chuck Oswald in 2000 to support projects in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan that enable families to develop skills to
nurture each other and to promote the advancement, self-sufficiency and intellectual, social, emotional and cultural growth of woman and children.
