Toledo Community Foundation Elects 2019 Officers; Welcomes New Trustee at Annual Meeting

TOLEDO, OHIO, March 29, 2019 – The Toledo Community Foundation Board of Trustees elected officers and welcomed one new member at its annual meeting this week.

The newly elected officers are L. Zac Isaac, Chair (Executive Officer, State Bank & Trust Co.); Hussien Y. Shousher, Vice Chair (Retired President, GEM, Inc.); Susan F. Palmer, Secretary (Development Fundraising Consultant); and Pam Hershberger, Treasurer (Retired Toledo Office Managing Partner, Ernst & Young LLP).

Jay Morgan, Chief Operating Officer, ReNew REIT, was appointed a new Trustee to replace retiring board member Scott Estes. Mr. Morgan was elected to serve a four-year term beginning in 2019.

Jay Morgan is the Chief Operating Officer of ReNew, a real estate investment trust focused on investing in private pay independent living, assisted living and memory care communities, a privately-held company founded in 2017. He has more than 20 years of experience in health care real estate development, acquisition and capital markets, having previously been associated with Miller Diversified and Welltower.
