TOLEDO, OH, September 30, 2019 – Greater Toledo Community Foundation and The Blade will present the ninth annual Nonprofit Innovation & Excellence Awards at a special breakfast and awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 15 at 8am at The Premier on Heatherdowns Blvd. The awards recognize local nonprofit organizations that stand out for their contributions to our community.
Christa Luttmann, NWO Liaison to Governor Mike DeWine, will be in attendance and present Proclamations from Governor Mike DeWine to each of the award winners.
GreaterToledo Community Foundation and The Blade, in partnership with The Center for Nonprofit Resources, collaborated to create these awards to recognize local nonprofit organizations for their contributions to our community. “We recognize that the nonprofit sector plays a critical role in enriching and improving the lives of people throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan,” states Keith Burwell, president of Greater Toledo Community Foundation. “We are thrilled that the Governor of the State of Ohio is joining us in this recognition, which is much deserved for all of our local nonprofit organizations.”
