The Toledo Walleye Hockey Club’s Walleye Wishing Well Fund supports projects that promote overall fitness and wellness of children during the cold weather months.
The following grants were awarded:
Believe Center, Inc. – $5,000 to support youth dance and sports programs.
Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee – $5,000 to support youth sports programs.
GreaterGenerations – $5,000 to support an outdoor community service and leadership workforce development program for youth.
Historic South Initiative – $7,500 to support youth basketball programs.
I Am Boundless – $10,000 to purchase indoor recreation supplies that will benefit intellectual and developmental delayed youth.
Lily Creek Farms Therapeutic Riding Center – $2,500 to support equine therapy for northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan youth.
Perrysburg Heights Community Association – $5,500 to launch a girls basketball program for youth.
The 577 Foundation – $4,826 to support an outdoor all-weather literacy and recreation space called StoryWalk to benefit youth.
The Program, Inc. – $5,000 to support a recreation and wellness program for youth without fathers.
Toledo Elementary Athletics Movement – $10,000 to support an indoor basketball program.
Toledo Elite Boxing Sports & Learning Foundation – $7,500 to support a youth boxing program.
