TOLEDO, OHIO, October 6, 2021 – The Board of Trustees of Greater Toledo Community Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $46,250 from its Community Funds Builder Grants Program. Greater Toledo Community Foundation is the largest philanthropic organization in northwest Ohio, committed to building healthy communities and promoting the responsible stewardship of resources.

The Community Funds Builder Grants Program provides seed money for new, innovative programming that addresses unmet community needs or to support capacity building efforts of existing nonprofit organizations.

Two grants totaling $46,250 were awarded:

Avenues for Autism – $21,250 was awarded to launch the autism navigator program that will connect families with appropriate services.
Partners in Education – $25,000 was awarded to support evaluation activities connected to a four-organization partnership providing aligned tutoring services to 4,000 kindergarten through twelfth grade students in the Toledo area.
