TOLEDO, OHIO, April 1, 2021 – Keith Burwell, president of Greater Toledo Community Foundation is pleased to announce the appointments of Mike Greer as the Foundation’s new Vice President of Philanthropic Services & Advancement, and Cassandra Arnold as the Foundation’s new Scholarship Officer.
Mike Greer joined the Foundation on March 22nd as Vice President, Philanthropic Services & Advancement. He was most recently the Senior Director of Annual and Major Giving at Notre Dame University of Maryland, a Sisters of Notre Dame sponsored university in Baltimore. His prior fundraising experience includes as Director of Development for the Clarion University Foundation and Director of Development for the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Campbell University. He has more than 17 years of experience in development and nonprofit advancement, with an emphasis in fundraising.
Mike reports to Ken Elkins, Chief Operations Officer and VP, Special Projects.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Mike’s fundraising background and experience to lead the Philanthropic Services team for our organization,” stated Ken. “Mike brings with him a commitment to the community and causes we serve. I have no doubt that under Mike’s leadership, GTCF will continue to grow.”
The Foundation is also pleased to announce the addition of Cassandra Arnold to the staff as Scholarship Officer.
Cassandra comes to the Foundation from Educare Academy Child Development Center, where she was a Recruitment Manager and a Lead Teacher. Cassandra received a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Toledo.
She reports to Patrick Johnston, Vice President, Community Investments.
